Purpose
Welcome to Gargrave Bowling Club and the sport of Crown Green Bowls, a sport that provides many years of enjoyment and interest to all players, whether that interest remains purely at club level or expands into County or even National level: the aim remains the same - enjoyment!
Gargrave Bowling Club is a crown-green bowling club for everyone, both experienced bowlers and beginners of both sexes and all ages We encourage crown-green bowling as a fun, diverse, inclusive, social activity, as well as taking part in league and club competition matches. We are a member of the British Crown Green Bowling Association (BCGBA) and adhere to all their rules and standards - see www.crowngreenbowls.org for more information
All the family can play Crown Green Bowls, from grandchildren to grandparents and it is a great sport for making new friends. It is a non-contact sport, which can be enjoyed by all, including those with disabilities. To find out more email us at: bowlsgargrave@gmail.com

The Green and Clubhouse
The Green is based behind the Masons Arms pub in Gargrave on Marton Road. Turn off the A65 onto Church Street. Drive over the river bridge and you’ll find the pub opposite the church.
Visitors can get the combination to the clubhouse door from the staff of the Masons Arms.
